I just checked and I really don't have any Baja T-shirts. Shame on ME!

But, I am surprised that nobody else has posted images of their Baja T-shirts.

Lightweights? Here's a bit of trivia.

I lived in several locations in the Conejo Valley for 20 years. Baja Fresh began in 1990 with a restaurant in Newbury Park. It was founded by Jim and Linda Magglos, a Greek-American couple that took a second mortgage on their home to open the restaurant. Their second location was in Agoura Hills. I got to know them, being a steady customer. They worked their butts off, but hard work brought success. Their version of gringo-Mex spurred many imitators.

Anyway, having taken on a venture capitalist as a partner, they were able to grow the chain, and sold it to Wendy's in 2002. Get this. Wendy's paid $275 million for it, and then proceded to run it into the ground. By 2006, Wendy's sold the chain for $31 million to an investment group that also owns Denny's.

Nice shade of blue in that first shirt!
I had a Pacifico one (probably doesn't count), but it was my brother's Christmas gift and thus is no longer in my possession.

Here's some-

The Never Worn Yet
The Worn Quite Often -and-
The Wearing Right Now

And one more thing, just for fun. "What is it?"

I would also put in a picture of the "worn-to-a-friends-house-and-left-there-never-to-be-returned" kid's t-shirt,but all you'd see is a bare back!

Thanks Nuts - nice looking shirts and one that is very well known by all of us. I need to get a Nomad shirt and had tried to buy one a couple of times recently but the store access over there still isn't working (at least the last time I checked).

As far as the "what is it?" photo - it appears to be the panga operation of someone we all know, right?

And for the rest of you, do you really not have any Baja t-shirts or just afraid we'll notice the salsa stains and worn collars???

The "what is it?" photo happens to be taken on the outskirts of Santa Rosalia, AND also just hapens to be the January photo on Carlos Fiesta's Baja 2011 Calendar. Photo taken by Pam Foigner.

What? No one on here bought a calendar? As you know, the fellow known as Carlos Fiesta died recently, and Marv Sherrill posted on Nomad that proceeds will be going to Carlos' family. I know they still have calendars left. $12.50.

I ordered mine about a day or two before Carlos passed. I would imagine that the family is running behind and I totally understand...
