Why would he confess? I wonder what tactics were used during the interrigation sessions! Where is the news about that?
I am happy they got him, but there are certainaly people in line to assume the position and continue the carnage. As long as their is the demand, all of these greedy criminals will continue to operate! |

Unfortunately, you are correct. This will not end as long as there is so much demand NOB. That is why I have changed my position these last few years to believe it truly would be best to just legalize drugs, tax them and regulate their distribution like we do alcohol.
We should have figured out by now that it is a war that cannot be won as it is one dealing with peoples personal lives. You cannot keep people from doing drugs any more than we could keep them from smoking or drinking alcohol.

Fine. Legalize the stuff, but drug related crime must be punished so severly as to be a deterent....not for drug use per se, but for illegal behavior related to the drug industry. Aquisition, sales....whatever.
Who cares anymore. Values and common sense are lost. |

Drugs? All drugs? Ain't never gonna happen. What may go a long way toward ameliorating the current situation would be to legalize marijuana.
Marijuana became demonized during the Nixon administration because crazy Milhous believed that marijuana was somehow fueling the dissent over the Viet Nam war, while overlooking the fact that a sizeable majority of soldiers serving in Nam were smoking the shit everyday. You might find this of interest. This is seriously good stuff here. Consortiumnews.com |
