When everybody has been talking about something important for a while, they finally get around to rationalizing and apologizing; even giving some heartfelt advice how to improve one's own lot.

I read a completely worthless offering like that about high gas prices recently. All sorts of platitude and "suck it up" sentiment under a headline about ways to cope.

Curiously, the ONE thing that anybody can do to get a few more miles/tank was not mentioned: fill up when it's cold, and you'll get more for the same price.

Try my attitude on for size and see how it fits. I have simply accepted the fact that I am growing older and in the end, once my ashes are scattered to the winds it won't matter much anyway.
