Default Friday, July 29, 2011 NON-Storm Alert

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm....there must be SOME reason NOAA is telling us about a 0%'er!!

Will have to flip a coin to decide whether to watch....or not!

Possibly NOAA is affirming results of the efforts and regulations to mitigate the effects of man made global warming.

"Showers and thunderstorms have developed in association with an area of low pressure about 850 miles south-southwest of the southern tip of baja California. Upper-level winds appear conducive for some gradual development of this system during the next couple of days. This system has a low chance, 20 percent, of becoming a tropical cyclone during the next 48 hours as it moves slowly westward or west-southwestward."

This is from Stormpulse. I guess it's a slow weather day.

Ah ha!!

0 - 70% in approximately 12 hours....NOAA's crystal ball is why they told us about a 0%er in the first place!

Well, it's now T.S. Eugene, although it doesn't look like it's going to head our way.

It would appear that Eugene will not be a factor to Baja but I always watch what gathers in their tail. That much movement of moisture/air does not happen without a cause/effect type of scenario. Keep watching that SE area of the map in the days to come...
