Default Long Beach and La Fonda

Hi board.

There's short blurbs now in my profile, but wanted to say a formal hello to all here.

So, hello!

Hi Beverly.....welcome aboard. This is the time when you're supposed to relate a couple of your innermost secrets so we can coerce you to think like we do should you have contrary opinions in the future.

Smile Re: Long Beach and La Fonda

Lolz and thanks. Maybe you remember being 'new', it means so much just to have a short word of greeting.

Innermost secrets, easy:

I get anxious if my toenails get too long.

Sometimes I am helpful because it feels good to be helpful, instead of doing it because it's in front of me to do. But I'm working on letting go of that.

When I was four, I wanted to grow up to be an angel, or a fairy. Just give me wings and powers, heh.

Aaaand, the biggest one, I am normal.

Pleasure to be here. Seems like a smart and affectionate crew.

Speaking of "toenails"... always like the pedicure in "Dumb and Dumber" ... a disk sander with # 2 grit... the wife has to do mine once in a while...

Nah; can't control the rotary action very well with one hand; the other holds the foot.

Small belt sander much better; I kid you not(calluses around the heel).

Thanksthanks!!!

Through this board already I have found someone (finally) to get my small load of things here, found out that the border at San Ysidro is a mess, and now, how to use power tools to assuage my anxieties. What a trove of information!

(That is not me ass kissing, just couldn't find a formal bow or giggle of glee)

Based on that first sentence, you may not want to jump to the conclusions of those following two sentences.....

Welcome!

Welcome Mudhen....I concur....what Dusty said!!!

Ya know there used to be a little guy bowing to the left & right....but I looked for it the other day & it appears he's been superseded (Marty'll tell me if I'm crazy....I try to give him that opportunity as infrequently as possible....but he probably mutters it under his breath more than he posts it!)

Gotta click the "More" link at the bottom of the 24 you see displayed to open a new window with all 108.

I DID click the more button....but I was looking for a little guy with feet bowing from the waist....I missed the bobbing head. It must be early senility setting in!
