We've received various types of threats for publishing the shortcomings of the city and state. Among the criticism is that we are responsible for scaring away tourists. Nevertheless, that ain't us but rather the crooked businessmen and authorities who don't do their jobs.

They've criticized us the most for reporting insecurity on the beaches; about the tourist whose throat was cut and was called a suicide, reports about the gunfight in Cabo San Lucas, and so many others.

The true blame lies with businessmen and "psuedo defenders" of tourism who just want to cover up the bad stuff that happens..."

Marty, good catch, the label on the packaging does say "HAM", but it's definitely an old dead turkey inside the plastic wrap....MUY VEIJO!! At that price, they gotta be charging for it's antique value! If you look closely, you can tell that poor old bird has a major case of freezer burn....it's so dessicated that it's shrunk away from the original shrink-wrap packaging. You can clearly see all the air space inside between the contents & the plastic, showing just how dessicated it is! No way would I even feed that to street dogs, who can apparently eat anything!! If that ended up in the dump, I'll bet there'd be a major vulture die-off surrounding the dump!

I'm guessing that it probably started out it's life as a fresh bird that didn't sell, got tossed in the back of a freezer for a year, pulled out for another sales season as a frozen turkey, didn't sell during the second go-round & languished at the back of a freezer!! Poor old Farmer John is undoubtedly spinning in his grave!! Somebody ought to give that poor old bird a proper burial....really deep!!!!

IMO, whoever made that video was performing a public service!!

I'm asking Jesse where he bought his turkeys before I order on Thursday!! Just kidding Jesse, I know you serve fresh stuff!

IF they dont sell it this year it will still be there next YEAR and with the price raised.
