I just posted this on the La Paz Gringo site, but I know some local area residents use this site instead & wanted to get the word out that there's a reverse Santa bandito in the area today....YUP, on Christmas day!

"A neighbor just called to tell me another neighbor adjacent to me left his place approximately an hour ago to take his dogs for a beach run....while he was gone, his house was broken into (broke a window) & his computer & possibly other things were stolen. There are several police vehicles over there as I type.

So, while it may be Christmas day, the banditos are active in this area, so whatever precautions you can take if you're leaving your casa today would be advisable.

Just a heads up!"

The break-in occurred near the Hacienda's Palo Verde development.

Just for the record Mr. Marty:

• I do NOT have my Bah Humbug t-shirt on today.
• Jenny, Maggie & Bing have not left my property all day (nor did they bark any warnings)!
• PC too big for ^them^ to carry, besides, ^they'd^ still be in his cocina!

Pretty damn sucky for Christmas day!! Sucky anytime....but Christmas day just makes it seem worse!
