This has not been a good month for me, as Sunday I lost another Baja friend, Abel Roman, who died early Sunday evening in an auto accident south of Primo Tapia on the free road. He will be missed and remembered...

Condolences, once again. That's too many tragic losses at any time, but so close together must be very rough.

Thanks for your kind words. If any of you knew Abel and wish to attend, his service will be this afternoon at 7:00PM at Funeraria San Ramon in Rosarito Beach.

wow this is my uncle i loved him dearly nd his loss to me was fatel.well to all my family!! we miss him soo much nd still cant believe dat hes now gone..if u knew him well dont hesitate nd reply bak nd tell me wat ur experiences were wit him,id like to know more bout u..

Whoa! How did I miss that? I guess his neice's post brought it to the top, and I failed to see the original date.
Still though, no problem extending well wishes, even if they're a bit late, they're always needed, right?

I agree. It's never too late to pay respects and offer condolences. It's just that some things, perhaps for how they are presented, can set off troll alarms. I'm not jumping to that conclusion.........only being hyper-cautious.

Elizabeth, I knew Abel through our mutual good friend - Willie Bautista. I really liked Abel and was so saddened when I heard about his accident. He was definitely one of the good guys down here...

oh ok,its so incredible nd hard to believe dat he isnt here nd dat its going to be 3 long yrs since he passed away nd left us lonely nd sad,my grandma just passed away this past september 15,2011, two yrs nd 2 months after his death,she would cry everyday wishing to be wit her negrito as she used to call him,nd well it happened.. nd now the family roman once again looses one very important person!! she was the tree trunk to this family,but well things happen. do u by any chanse have any pictures of my uncle or know someone who does nd dat is willin to share them? my family nd myself had very few of him,nd the ones he left,which were alot,are now lost forever to us,since his wife doesnt seem to want to share dem..he left them in a USB.
