Local fisherman are finally trying to do something about the plague of shrimpers and sardine boats that invade this area from out of state. I've seen these sardine boats completely strip the bay of sardines in one night. In one day the bay changed from looking like a National Geographic special full of birds, dolphins, sea lions and fish boils...to a barren blue lifeless desert.
