Confused Our trip south
Crossed the border at Mexicali on thursday and headed south 1st stop, Catavina, the hotel was remodeled and they did apretty good job. I"ll try and upload some pics; according to queso grande it should pretty easy. well see.
next was Loreto and then La Paz, the road is in very good shape,it saddens me because in a few more years everybody will be able to came to our little corner of paradise; hopefully it takes the rest of the world a while to catch on.

Nice photos...where is the hotel in the last picture? Is that in La Paz?

That big rock overhang in Cataviña looks somewhat better with most of the graffiti chipped off.

Hotel looks like Catavina.
They've cleaned it up a lot.
Very nice family from Guadalajara managing it last time we were through.
They have a daughter that could be my twins triplet!

The hotel is the one in catavina,the grounds and the rooms were updated' still kinda pricey but is either that or drive a few more hours to guerrero negro

When you consider that they have to produce all of the power themselves ($$$) it probably makes the price seem more in line...
