Default Towing Trailer Through Tecate

Just returned from a trip to the U.S. When I was up there, I read a thread about someone getting pulled over for towing a trailer and NOT making a left at the first traffic light, on Revolucion. (I couldn't find the tread again to answer it directly)

So... learning from the exeriences of others, we made a left there, and and then the first right, which is the street that takes you by the park and out of town. It was actually easier to go that way pulling a trailer.

We didn't, however, see ANY signs indicating that trailers had to make a left on Revolucion. If it is a regulation that trailers have to go that way, there is absolutely nothing indicating so. Having gone both ways now, if you have a trailer, I'd recommend making the left on Revolucion, then take the first right on Pdte Pascual Ortiz Rubio. There's much more room to make the turns and much less traffic.

Default Re: Towing Trailer Through Tecate

Just from experince driving a regular vehicle we learned to go that way if you go straight through the traffic can be a mess. I like others have never seen a sign saying you have to turn left at first light but it' darn shure easier.
