Default Re: Forced “Disappearances” a Growing Problem in Mexico

This has become ominous since the last "elections" because the gang that "won" has been brooking no opposition. Good people are dropping like flies.

Ruy Salgado, the head of the online publication el5antuario.org, disappeared on 8 September 2012 in the middle of a broadcast and Aleph Jiménez, an oceanographer at CICESE and one of the leaders of YoSoy132 in Ensenada, disappeared on 20 September 2012.

Update 2012-09-28
Aleph Jiménez appeared in Mexico City to say that he had been hiding in fear of his life and that he had no immediate plans to return to Baja California because of that same fear. Ensenada continues to be preoccupied because they still have fourteen murders that have not been cleared up.
