Hello Talk Baja Members,

I wanted to introduce myself since I am new to your forum and website.

My name is Jim Hendricks, and I am the co-owner of Baja Jims. We are a San Diego based company. My business partner is professional photographer and Baja travel guide Jim Cline.

Baja Jims publishes The Baja Calendar. The Baja Calendar

We took over the publishing of The Baja Calendar from Marv Sherrill and Chuck "Carlos Fiesta" Chambers one year after Chuck was killed in a tragic plane crash.

Needless to say, we both love Baja California, and our mission is to spread the word about it's beauty through photography and by sharing our experiences through the stories we write.

Welcome to the forum Jim - really enjoy the calendars. Out of curiosity, how/where does one submit photos for consideration for future calendars???

If you have photos you would like us to consider for future calendars, you can send them to us at BajaJims@TheBajaCalendar.com. If they are large files, we use Dropbox.

We were planning on using Jim Cline's photography again in next year's Baja calendar (Jim Cline.com). But we will keep our options open to including others too.

I do have a proposal for you though Baja Gringo. You live in San Quintin, right?

Baja.com want's me to write an article with photos for their website. The subject this time is the San Quintin area. With some primary focus on the Jardines Hotel and Restaurant.

I have a few photos of the hotel exterior and gardens that I took in December, but none of the bar & restaurant. The photo I took of the Jardines billboard on the corner of Hwy 1 and the dirt road didn't come out well either.

I could really use a few good photos of the Jardines Restaurant and Bar, and the surrounding hotel gardens area, as well as some interesting shots of the San Quintin area.
