Thanks for having this site..Very glad to find it.. A little history: My wife & I were both born & raised in So Calif...When I was young we had a small vacation home in a park in San Felipe and loved it there...We use to visit Ensenada often with our family and stay at Estero Beach where we loved it there also....Back then there were many American Parks up and down the coast where a person could find a small home or mobile home to either buy or rent at a very reasonable price....We currently live in Tennessee and are both on Social Security so we aren't loaded with money to be able to buy a condo or fancy place....Getting by up here in the states is tough on SS and since we love it down there, it makes sense to us to see if we can find information on what might be available down there....Any help, advice or information would be very much appreciated.....thanks again.....

There are "camps" in the SW end of Ensenada in an area called Punta Bunda. You can find reasonably priced homes there but before you even start thinking about buying I would strongly recommend you take advantage of one the relatively low rentals available (there are many) where you can spend time, get to know the lifestyle, area and customs/culture.

That will give you the time to really assess whether it is a good fit and even if you do decide to stay, it might make better sense for you to just keep on renting.

Do as Ron suggests and rent for a while. You may like it .....you may not.
Punta Banda is nice with a robust expat community which may serve you well.
