Default How to: Moving Items Back to the USA

I want to start moving some Mexican items to the USA. I know the import rules coming into Mexico but not many of the rules for moving things back. The consulate website has good info on the paperwork, I'm thinking about the actual physical move. Trucks, trailers and stuff. I've seen some pretty long open trailers crossing at San Ysidro. Anybody know the trailer "rules" on size? Any reliable movers that can drive a truck across the border north? I'm drawing a blank on this one

I helped a friend move back with their truck and mine, we just drove up to Otay and the guy at the booth inquired what's going on and I told him and he waved us through.

I've had great experiences using ACV to import items and deliver them to my house in Mexico. I talked to a driver once that had a load heading North, I didn't ask if North was the U.S., but I got the impression it was. Might be worth a call to see if they transport goods North across the border. Very personal service.
