Not seeing this having any better outcome than any other attempts at mitigation they have tried.

Well- this isn't good. Nothing about that reactor site is good. Couldn't they wait until after the holidays to destroy the world?

I read the article and if anything, the critics are understating the potential risk of the rod removal scheme proposed by TEPCO. Japan may very well suffer it's second Hiroshima by its own hand...
