In the past ive offered company and some chores to expats needing lite house duties and since I dont go far from home, I can provide company to may otherwise forgotton seniors. Myself financially comfortable and am not a vegabound..not that ive not met some very special Baja wanderers.

My guess is yes, just that such a relationship is highly personal and takes time to develop. Best when it comes from a referral from a trusted friend/neighbor. I suggest you reach out to friends you now know down here on the peninsula and ask them. Are you looking solely for the San Felipe area?

I am fond of punta banda and campo la jolla area....several years back i was fortunate to meet people who gave me a room to stay.. Sadly they have passed away and I know there are alot of people all alone who seem to be forgotten about. I like quiet place and can be company and helper for anyone who could use some help with things and provide some company.

You'll have to sort through a lot of restaurant ads and (at times) endless discussions (debates) over seemingly minor issues but by getting involved there you can make yourself familiar and perhaps have some luck at finding a win-win situation there.
