The custom paperwork is def the hard part. You need itemized lists and valuations on their forms. If you do a self move with trailer and go through the normal border lanes, you will find the BP agents very accomodating. All options are good options though.

Dennis seemed very helpful and nice at the beginning but in the end he was very unprofessional and I was without a mover at last minute. We made arrangements for a fee verbally and by email and he stated depending on whether or not he needed to hire someone he may or may not charge me a little more. He later called asking to come look at the furniture I wanted moved so see he oculd see if he needed to hire a helper. I called him the day before the move to confirm and he stated that he would not be coming due to the whether and he asked me again what I was moving and asked if I could postpone the move or if I could move it to storage until the weather cleared up. He said that if the weather cleared up he could still do it. I told him I wouldn't be able to postpone the move as I told my landlord I had hired him and they already rented the unit. He replied in a very unprofessional tone, you didn't hire me I was coming to give you an estimate and you know what just cancel it. My advice to you if you hire him is for you to set clear terms and expectations and maybe have them in writing since he is inconsistent in his responses and level of service.
