Default condensation water

We have a problem with extremely hard water here in Nopolo. Beans won't cook, houseplants won't grow and eventually wither away, etc.
I have been watering plants with A/C condensation water and they seem to be doing much better. In this climate my A/Cs produce about 5 gallons of water a day.
Question: Since there is no distilled water to be had here, would it be OK to use that condensation water for battery upkeep ? I have a golfcart, which we use for driving around here and going to the beach. Batteries are very expensive and I hate to screw them up.

Default Re: condensation water

Condensation from your A/C is distilled water. The only question is what it runs over on it's way down the drain. If it is reasonable clean, I would say it would be perfect for batteries.
