Greetings,

I'm looking to retire in the next few years, and am very interested in the
Baja area. This looks like a great resource. My wife and I are currently
in Texas.

Welcome, fester; nice to have you aboard.

I've been to Austin once on business; my wife comes every once in a while to work down towards Bastrop.

Nice people there, but I dunno about that Tex-Mex. I ordered a chile relleno and they brought me a bell pepper cut in half; stuffed with greasy, taco-seasoned ground hamburger and smothered in melted Velveeta.

There are some really good places to get Tex-Mex, though it sounds like
you didn't find one of them :-)

YIKES!>>>>that's enough to scare a even a Non-Texan!


Not to worry, there are many, many great food places that don't use velveeta and I hope FesterZ can find them all in Baja!
