Brief storm passing over

It was a dark & stormy afternoon....3 PM El Centenario....there are rivers of rain gushing out my gargolas, thunder reverberating overhead & shaking the casa, with an occasional glimpse of lightening showing itself through the gloomy dark cloud cover.

I think somebody stole La Paz! The 3rd pic is a really old-fashioned rain gauge....it recorded 2 3/4"!

All over now at 3:36 PM ....but a few trickles coming off the roof. Well....& all the plants yelling "GRACIAS!"

Oh, Frank has pretty much fizzled, although this might have been his final parting shot since Mother Nature took the wind out of his sails, so to speak!

The sun is back out & La Paz is beginning to reappear!

Well, my feet definitely smell better!

Is it to late to say the essence of polvo is gone?

Pool level just went up 1 1/2"....I'd just cleaned it right before the storm hit....now the entire surface is covered with detached 1/2" wings! A few entire bodies, but a major amount of little wings....and I'm thinking they aren't angel wings!

Also I doubt if there's a dragonfly still sitting on the runway at their base....they've all taken to the air!

Sorry Soulpatch, you take a lotta abuse when your name comes up during hurricane season!

Air temp dropped over 10 degrees as well....it's now a comfortable 91 degrees & my pool temp held at 85.

It's baaaaack ... mycomitan was right.
We didn't get much rain downtown from the 3:00 squall, but this one is dumping a lot more. I may not even need to water the trees!

That's a lot of water...and I thought out piddly little 1/4" inch of rain squall was exciting.
