I had done an into earlier, somehow it has disappeared. I guess I will do another. First a clarification, for those of you who know me or think they know me.

I just got an e-mail that someone on another site has been suggesting they are Me. Well, they are not. I respect Dougs decision to not let me post there. I really could care less about stirring the pot on Dougs site. There seems to be plenty of people over there for that.

For the record. I am studying for my circumnavigation of Baja on my new 30 ft sailboat that I have slipped in MDR. You can find me most weekends in Avalon or Two Harbors. For those of you who live on the coast in Baja, don't be surprised if you wake up one morning to find a sailboat parked in front of your casa.

I met my wife in an internet Cafe in the town of Santa Rosalia 8 years ago. What an adventure it has been. Baja is in my blood and my soul. My passion is fishing, and being on the water. I can think of no better place on this planet to pursue them than Baja.

The friends I have met during my travels on the peninsula are among my closest. I look forward to making many more. Saludos All.

Ron. I posted on Amigos since its inception, then Nomads for years without a problem. Things got testy when a certain personality type showed up and attempted to dominate the forum. A lot of the problems started do to no moderation or selective moderation. IMO. That was then. I have gone through so much and grown so much since those things it seems like a lifetime ago. I look forward to participating here sharing experiences and not focusing so much on personalities.

New boat to you but a very old design. You better check that rigging real good if you sail offshore. If you make it to La Paz you can park it in my backyard + 1 block. Be good.

I have gone through it with a fine tooth comb. Everything is AOK. Not to mention hundreds of miles under my belt in her already.

The reason I chose this boat are manifest. Mostly the head room in the Main Cabin. It gets so tiresome to have to bend over all the time. HAHA
