Cristina is making me a hot cup of coffee right now. About a 50/50 mix with some Baileys and I think I will just go and sit out under the front porch and watch...

It has been quite a long time since I witnessed so much rain here in SoCal. Seems like this happens about every ten years. Last time I recall, I was living in Topanga. A significant stretch of the boulevard crumbled away and down into the creek. There were many months of anguish and annoyance, as the only way out was North up to the valley. Working on the West side of LA was no fun back then.

Too bad the people of Baja cant grasp the concept of water coservation this place would look like a garden year round. In this area after it stops raining the water continues to run out of the hills for a couple days after the rain stops.

Sorry, the road out to your place and Bahia Falsa. Looking to come down next month and wondering if I need to glue my teeth?

The road is what it is, some parts good, some parts bad and some parts simply creep along and wince - all part of the charm of this place.

Based on the weather that could change and quickly all become creep and wince - so check back and inquire before you go...

Last month I took the back road to Don Alvaro's in search of some oysters and clams to take back into town. I noticed alot of homes going up by your place, going to be a nice little community soon.....I love it. I really dug the way one of your neighbors used volcanic rock for his front steps. My sister and I thought that was so awesome.

I think you should sell everything you have but your truck, move down here, set up shop under a nice, big palapa on the beach and peddle your services to the Rodriguez family...

Not saying you will make more money than you do know but you will be much happier...

I love the diverse, natural resources all around us here that can be used to build with. We have been busy working on the inside of the house lately and have done just that. Working with rock can be a slow process at times but I just love the results...

Working with natural elements may be time consuming and often more expensive but the end result is worth it. We love the brick that they make over around San Felipe Our house is stucco it is nice but it doesnt make a statement. I really like the use of natural stone more than any thing
