It has been raining buckets here in Nopolo/Loreto all morning. Norman made an about face after getting to the mainland and is heading for Conception Bay, to arrive somewhat later tonight. Hope Mulege is able to survive this deluge as it is heading their way.

How's the wind, Ed???

We got drenched yesterday evening. I heard it was 2-3" worth and believe it. My pool overflowed, and you could have done whitewater rafting in the street. Some streets are still a mess today, with water and lots of new bottomless potholes. One I saw was probably bigger than my car. According to the news, a few people were trapped in their vehicles while trying to cross arroyos, but they were rescued by the authorities.
