Default Rain

Out here on the beach, west of San Quintin it's been coming down steady for a couple of hours. No end in sight...

Cloudy here, but no precipitation....yet. BG, just think of all the flowers that'll be bursting out soon....along with all the flies, mosquitoes & other critters who've just been lurking in the soil just waiting for some rain to hatch or come out of hibernation! Ribbet!

Looked like we were going to get dumped on...wall of dark clouds, sudden wind gusts to 30mph then it hit...lasted 5 minutes and now the sun's coming out. Don't get your hopes up too much Legs, there shouldn't be much left by the time it gets to you.

Which means....how many people are held prisoner down that hill that don't have 4wheels to get out, John?
That road is tough when it rains.

The majority of folfs that live here have at least one 4x4 I have 2 but when i had a 2 wheel drive i could always get out. I think most of the people that dont come here often think of the old road I like most have heard how bad it was. The good it keeps the looky loos out.

Hope the new bridges hold up (and the old ones that didn't wash away in Jan. 2010)!

I was mainly dreading the rain because I had to make the drive north to Tijuana today. It really wasn't too bad - even the stretch of construction north of Santo Tomas wasn't bad. It does help to have 4 wheel drive this time of year and out where we live it is a requirement...
