Default Jeff “Ox” Kargola killed in Baja "Rip to the Tip" race
FMX and off-road motorcycle racing star Jeff “Ox” Kargola passed away today while riding in Mexico. Kargola was participating in the 2011 Monster Energy Rip to the Tip adventure ride. Details are few at this moment, but the word is Ox crashed in a section of whoops and passed away enroute to the hospital.

The 27-year-old San Clemente, California resident was a jack-of-all-trades racer that competed in freestyle motocross, AMA District 37 desert races, X Games, and LOORRS truck racing. He was also a member of the Metal Mulisha and was highly regarded in the off-road motorcycle community.

A friend of mine knew him and raced with him over the years. Said he was a stand up guy...
