Where is Las Palapas? Where is this house? What's up with the Land? Own? Lease? What?
If it's lease land, who owns the property?

I was curious too. Looked on google but could only come up with a public pool area - Albercas Las Palapas. Does that ring any bells Dennis???

Not to me, Ron, but that doesn't mean much. There are pools between Ramajal and the water, so it could be in Ramajal, or adjacent.. I never knew the place to have a real name.
People come down here and make up names for land they live on or near, like Punto Estero.....everybody who doesn't know better calls it "The Spit." To a Mexican with a dictionary, that might sound not quite right.

Ha! And somewhat interesting that given the claimed location, they were off the grid....

Maybe Dennis can get on his bike and ride around the area?

It's claimed to be a 4400 sq ft home. I don't recall seeing this, despite the many times we've driven out to La Buf.

Well....I found the Las Palapas area which turns out to be the name of a convenience store....nothing else.
The house is somewhere across the avenue in, or near, Ramajal....as I suspected. It's probably in the grid, but the asking price is three times what the place is worth..........I don't care how many square feet or stories it has.

The tire stairway will give one a good idea of what to expect in the rest of the house.

I explore all around here and I dont ever rember seeing that house,but then not being all that attractive I probably wouldnt have noticed it.
