I am looking for info re a proposed development on coast near San Quintin. It was named Playa Marina with a development date around the mid to late 1990s. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I wasn't around here in the 1990's but I have never heard of any such development. Is it something that Rafael Orendian's group was peddling? There is a Bahia Playa Marina located a few hundred miles south on the peninsula outside San José de las Palomas. If you could share a little more info regarding your question I might be able to help.

Thank you for the welcome. The location is described in the advertising literature as being 6 miles directly west of San Quintin. 1,043 acres fronting 3.5 miles of the Pacific Ocean. At southern most point is a large natural lagoon adjacent to the ocean, protected by a cobblestone strata. I don't have any old maps of areas, only a few drawings. I have not heard of Rafael. It was allegedly owned by a Mr Luis Alvarez.
