Default New Mex1 military checkpoint

The large, several lane checkpoint that was built last year on the highway approximately 5 to 7 miles south of Maneadero and has sat vacant since completion was full of soldiers today when I passed through and it looks like they were gearing up to go into business.

A friend forwarded this photo to me a few months back and right now I can't recall who it was to give them credit. I'm sure that I will hear about it soon enough...

Do you think they will keep the other one open by the grape fields? Or is this just for the race?

When we went down south a few weeks ago we noyicer that big trucks are already tearing it up . I wondered why they built the lanes so narrow.

They'll be sniffing for money for sure, but will they catch the diamonds in toothpaste?

A friend who just passed through yesterday tells me that the group manning the newest checkpoint are the marines vs the army at the checkpoint between San Vicente and Colonet.
