Default Ni-Fe battery for Solar power

Has anyone had any experience with the Ni-Fe battery for solar power applications?? It sure sounds good on paper. Cost seems to be the main issue, however it can withstand 70 - 80% discharge and still be fine, so you don't need as much total capacity as a standard Lead-Acid.

Hard to believe that a technology this old can still be competative, however I guess Lead-Acid is just as old.

They look/sound great but are extremely pricey. If they could bring the cost down it might become an attractive option...
