TEMPORARY FOSTER HOME NEEDED FOR DOG

Cheryl Shepard's (from the Theater Guild) brother Terry had an accident wherein his car caught on fire and his feet were horribly burnt. It's pretty bad.

He has a female dog named JJ - a 1 year old spayed black lab mix. She weighs about 40 lbs and has had all her shots. She was in the car with Terry when the fire started and he went back in to rescue her - so he loves this dog.

She hasn't been trained very well but I think she could be. She's a nice dog and good guard dog as she will let you know when anyone comes near the house. She needs a good home to stay in while Terry's in the hospital. It will need to be a fenced yard situation. They're no money in it although all food will be paid for. I would be willing to field some legal questions for the favor.

Cheryl says she's sweet and nice dog. Cheryl doesn't have a yard, only a small patio that's easily escapable - and she hops the little wall and takes off. Cheryl's can't keep her and Terry will be in the hospital in San Diego for about 3 months.

They had to cut off the skin and meat from his toes to his heel and so far has amputated one toe. She/we need someone to give JJ a place to stay until Terry comes back to Rosarito - he lives in Rene's campo. Please circulate this around and maybe someone will be kind enough to help. I nominate Wessongroup as temporary father!!

BG, I'm thinking if you post this on BN that possibly GypsyJan might step up to the plate & possibly get some obedience training done as well....maybe!

Was actually thinking about offering... but, we are (strike that) my wife is moving us today to a new house...

Not sure it would be welcomed at the moment .... that I'm going to add another dog to the house... me, I would like to have her.... we will have the room.. at the new place, along with a fenced yard.. (will keep super dog out of crap) and a dog sign is already up...

Let me ask the wife... and will get back..

Thank BG for posting this, as the foster is temporary and food is provided this fellow just need a safe place until his owner has recovered.... Hey Wessongroup, would be a great companion for "super dog"!!!!

Exactly, think they would be a real pair....

Perhaps you can help me with ML on this one... she taking up the second load.. not too sure she thinks it is a good idea...

Asked in a very timid manner... but, mom's first look was not too good.. she was not sure Bear and JJ would get along...

Call her and see what we can do for JJ... after all, I'm a man

I would love to help out but our "little" Doberman is 4½ months old and right in the middle of training. She is doing well but I constantly fight with the distraction of the other two dogs. I really hope somebody is able to step up to the plate...
