Default Mexican register to Vote Prior to
Does anyone know if a Mexican citizen is required to register to vote Prior to being allowed to apply for a Drivers License??? Yes, I do have a reason for asking.....

No they do not have to be registered to vote first.
They do need current ID as to address of residence.

Drivers license or not it is illegal for a Mexican citizen to drive a U.S. plated car.

Yes it is done hundreds of times a day but the law still exists and has hit and miss enforcement.
