Do dogs go to Heaven? An hysterical and yet absolutely real exchange of messages between two churches that face each other across a busy street. The escalating battle that took place between the two over the canine soul is just too funny to pass up...


Of course we all do agree here that good dogs really do go to heaven, right???

I was waiting for one of them to mention cats (who would probably mutter, "We don't need no stinkin' souls!").
If there's a heaven, of course our pets go there. It would be a pretty cold, dull place without them!!

Of course all dogs go to Heaven, even "bad dogs". They weren't born bad, some human just screwed them up. As for cats, I am pretty sure they think Heaven was created for them.

I had the same dog from the time I was 1 until I was 19. The idea of getting to see him again is just one more reason to want to go too.

Of course my old cats will be there too, but may not find time in their busy schedules to stop by.

I have no idea, but if they don't, I don't want to go either.....not that there's much of a chance anyway.

My dog is a saint. Why wouldn't she go to heaven? All saints go to heaven. That's where they hang out. In heaven.

I hope to see my life time dogs when I get up there... IF I qualify! lol

If there is such a thing as heaven, and if I'm allowed entry, I say I would have to thank my many animal friends for helping me attain that entry status.
Without them, I certainly would be destined to the netherworld.
Even at that, it's still a tossup.

For all Dog lovers, if you haven't read this go now, it will break your heart. I used to be a pretty bad man but every time I read this I cry.

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.

If I may post the Poem

Rainbow Bridge

There is a bridge connecting heaven and earth
It is called Rainbow Bridge because of its many colours

Just this side of the Rainbow Bridge there is a land of meadows,
hills, valleys with lush green grass

When a beloved pet dies, the pet goes to this special place
There is always food and water and warm spring weather

The old and frail are young again
Those who are maimed are made whole again

They play all day with each other
There is only one thing missing

They are not with their special person who loved them on Earth
So each day they run and play until the day comes
when one suddenly stops playing and looks up !

The nose twitches !
The ears are up !
The eyes are staring !
And this one suddenly runs from the group !

You have been seen, and when you and your special friend meet,
you take him or her into your arms and embrace
your face is kissed again and again,
and you look once more into the eyes of your trusting pet

Then you cross the Rainbow Bridge together, never again to be separated

Damn you hit my soft spot, I would have posted the poem but I didn't want to go throught the pain of another lost friend, my last got out a month ago and got killed by an F33333333, pit bull 6 years, the one before by Mexican rat poison 11 years

So do dogs have souls? Maybe not there own but the darn sure have yours, God knows

Maybe it has to do with "gravity" .. this was a good one from another board ... found it interesting... from a lot of different angles...
