Hello all you TB folks! The 6 month chore of offing my biz in O.C. and moving to La Paz is done!! I've gotten the boat wet a couple times, caught some baby fish, and am learning my way around La Paz. Great place, and mucho feliz I am finally here!!!

It is a life changing event my friend. I noticed that in your case though it seems to have left you a bit "blue", based on the photos...

Welcome, neighbor! The "blues" must be a reflection of the chilly weather we're having, right?

Not sure what is up with the "blues"! I am surely not! Need to play with the camera some more I guess. I should be able to find the time, been a bit too windy as of late to fish.

I also notice that your location still says "Orange, Ca".

sounds like an investigation is underway! This might take many Pacificos and much comment to discover the Real Facts!!

Isn't the time and date stamp on a digital camera the newest equivalent of the first VCR's. Mine always blinked 12:00.

Bajabass,

For correction to the blue cast................look for the "white balance" adjustment and see what setting it is on. If it is on any other setting but auto try auto. If it is on auto try setting it on daylight or sun. That should correct it.

Welcome to the neighborhood! Now change your location....I told all the neighbors you're from the Pacific Northwest....so you'd be better accepted than if you were from CA!

Retirement is supposed to be stress free, not all the time apparently.

Retirement means that now you get to stress about some "new" stuff....

He: "Honey, isn't it great now that I have twice as much time with you?"

And finally, while sitting on the edge of the bed...

He: "Honey, I forget - am I just now getting up or going to bed?"
She: "It really doesn't matter dear"

It's nice to get out of the rat race, but you have to learn to get along with less cheese.

We actually said one of those, I'm not saying which one without a couple of takillya shooters (in Baja of course).

OK, OK, I changed my location!!
The last three weeks have been a blurr! La Paz is great, just wish the wind would stop. Thanks all, it has been a heck of a ride getting done "up there', and giggling to myself on the two day drive down. My father-in-law must REALLY think I'm crazy now. He speaks no English, and I had a caca eating grin on my face all the way down, with sudden bursts of laughter and "Gracia Dios's" around every corner.
Speaking of Pacificos, I love the drive thru Modelorama on 1, near the airport interchange!!

I was waiting to congratulate you until it was confirmed that you were actually here

Seems you are... so CONGRATULATIONS.

Now, if the fishing's as bad there as it is on the Pacific side, you're going to have to find another hobby for a while!

Oh, he's here. Energetic euphoria exploding from every pore like a ten year old on the last day of school.
