What if a trip report isn't primarily an off road adventure? Still goes here or where?

Sounds fair to me - if for some reason it appears to belong elsewhere it is easy to move. But I do appreciate you asking...

I found the Lifestyle section of the forum and it has many activities listed (sailing, golf, camping) Maybe separating off-roading and trip reports would simplify any confusion.

It might be nice to have a dedicated sub-category for Trip Reports for all those trips that don't fall into a specific activity category. I didn't see a generic Trip Report listing, but it is very likely I could have missed it.

Not a bad idea - let me look at that today and see what I can do...

Thanks Ron... I hope you know I don't want you to do something 'special' for me as longlegs tried to make it sound... But there are plenty of trip reports where off roading isn't the primary event, so maybe just say 'trip reports' or like on Nomad have an off roading and a trip reports forum? Whatever you like... it's your site!

I think the suggestion was a good on splitting the offroad / trip reports into two forums. I increased the attachments per post to 10. More than that and a page that is attachment heavy will probably be a bit slow loading at times based on server traffic.

If you already have the photos posted elsewhere you can still use the attachment option to upload from the existing photo url's.

Well, I tried to upload 10 photos and after all the pasting, the page crashed! LOL!

I think I will just invite anyone who hasn't seen them to go to the Nomad Baja Trip Reports Forum and click on the 9 part 'Baja 709' (July, 2009) posts.

might I suggest starting a new thread for your latest trip report? It will probably get lost in this thread entitled "trip report questions".

Others coming in to this forum later and looking at past trip reports might not find it at all. You have a ton of great information in your posts that will be of value to others later.

Sorry to hear about the page crash, hopefully it can be resolved to have the photos here also.
