Default Mexicans Who Lived In Los Angeles Were The Founders Of San Quintín, Eréndira y El Porvenir

Very interesting article but they did get a few of the facts wrong concerning the title of the property that would become the San Quintin Valley back in 1947. The Orendain family was given a simple 10 year concession over a portion of that property, and not the entire parcel. Mexico City never granted them the title nor did they ever pay the national land title fees to Mexico City. From that mistake were born the problems they now face in the valley today.

Expect a very big court decision to be annonced in this matter later this year...

I was hoping you'd chime in on that part.

From my (few)experiences where I was actually present(during later-reported newsworthy events), media rarely does even a passable job at fairly portraying the basics.

Re: Media
Must have something to do with "conservatism" in some way.

Rather than do all their homework it is just easier to look for an answer online or call somebody to get a version that sounds plausible. Journalsim in the modern era has really gone downhill...
