I have been reading a lot of posts about Baja on this and other forums. So I took the plunge and visited this past weekend. Down to San Diego and that wonderful Friday night trip across the port of entry for Mother's Day...who knew? Rosario for 1 night and down to San Quintin. Then down to Bahia De Los Angeles where, there was no room at any Inn since the Baja 1000 was coming through! Back to SQ and the Rosario for 2 days. There will be more trips coming as I search for a community to retire in and become part of.

Welcome to the forum! Any photos of the trip???

Coming up when I get home to post them. What is the best way to upload them? Had a great piece of fish at the Old Mill in San Quintin. You guys promised an experience in Baja and it was great. Even split between dodging the Baja road racers who were driving the highway to Bahia De Los Angeles and passing on curves on Highway 1.

Good start, but you've only scratched the surface.....there is SOOOOO much more to Baja than the Norte region!

Nooooo San Quintin is the ONLY place!!!!

Apparently I am missing a security "token" to post pictures. Will try again later on a new thread.

The site has some security twists & turns to weed out BOTS & spammers.....you've only made 3 posts, so you haven't yet gotten through the security maze. But I'll bet our moderator buddy Marty Cortez will soon be along to over-ride that restriction. Hang in there!

I have only seen the "security token" error once before and it occurred when I accidentally clicked on the "page back" function in my browser and then returned to the page I was on again using the browser "page forward" function. After doing so, when I clicked on the forum "post reply" button it gave me the security token error.

I believe there are times that the forum software loses track of the temporary cookie it places on your PC to be sure it keeps track of who you are you as you move through the forum. When you use the browser functions in lieu of the forum links/functions to move about, it may lose track of you.

That is the only thing that occurs to me so I would suggest you try again.
