Catavina is my favorite place on earth! I simply cannot pass through that amazing field of boulders without stopping to take more pictures. It's quite a challenge to get pictures without graffiti! :(

More Catavina....Any guesses on how long it took me to carve my first initial out of that rock in the first pic?

Great photos. The graffiti is so sad. I still remember how enraged I was the first time I passed through. But, notwithstanding the graffiti, it is almost unique in its beauty.

The good news is that the graffiti will eventually be washed off and bleached out over time. The bad news is that it will probably be a couple of hundred years after man has wiped himself off the planet.

A few more like this and we really will need to give Legs her own sub-forum. Wonderful pictures that really capture the place, moment and experience. I really am happy to see some of you taking advantage of the photo upload feature and I am enjoying this as much as the rest of you...
