Re: Ensenada ExPat dead
I know there is violence everywhere and it is truly sad.
Your experience, I have no doubt, will forever alter your mindset when you are in many situations. Having been stabbed, had guns pointed aimed my way and growing up in a fairly violent environment has shaped me forever. When I was younger and alone I had far more confidence in my abilities to navigate sticky situations. Adding in the factors of young children and a wife makes the variables almost too difficult to deal with in any other fashion except for not getting close to a bad situation.... which means a lot of roads being left untraveled at this point. Man, I used to be such a cheerleader for the empty spots down south but the drug trade highway has altered many things for me and my comfort zone. The worst part is the absolute randomness of this.... I have hit lots of these places, as well as many of my friends having done so, with nothing but great experiences. I guess it is true that one bad experience can change something forever. This economy and the widening gap between the haves and the have-nots is going to make things worse. That and the unending market for drugs.

There is more to this story........there always is.
Just doesn't make sense as a robbery when the victim still had his wallet, according to Ensenada.net |
