Is the area where this happened really that isolated? Why steal a "disposable" 12 year old van? One could guess...

San Quintín, B. C. - Con lujo de violencia, un hombre fue despojado de su vehículo, del cual fue bajado por tres hombres al parecer armados, quienes le ocasionaron dos heridas en la cabeza y varias más en diversas partes del cuerpo.

El reporte correspondiente se recibió a las 18:35 horas del pasado lunes, efectuado por quien se identificó como Roy Ramírez Beltrán, de 47 años y con domicilio en el rancho Las Escobas.

Al ser entrevistado por los uniformados municipales, el afectado refirió que él se encontraba en circulación sobre la calle Primera, fraccionamiento Ciudad San Quintín, con orientación poniente oriente.

Conducía un vehículo tipo vagoneta, marca Ford Winstar, modelo 2001, color verde, placas de circulación 4NMK504, de California, cuando en esos momentos lo alcanzó un automóvil.

Indicó que por la rapidez del suceso no se percató del color y/o marca de la unidad, sólo que en ella viajaban tres hombres al parecer portando armas de fuego; y procedieron a bajarlo de su carro.

Antes, los presuntos delincuentes le causaron dos heridas en la cabeza, de cinco centímetros de largo y uno de profundidad, además de varias otras lesiones en distintas partes del cuerpo.

San Quintín, B. C. - A man had his vehicle violently stolen when he was attacked by three armed men who caused wounds to his head and several other parts of his body.

The report was received at 6:35PM last Monday, made by Roy Ramírez Beltrán, 47 years old and with a home in rancho Las Escobas.

Upon being interviewed by the municipal police, the victim said that he was driving on calle Primera, in the San Quintin subdivision, heading eastbound.

He was driving a green 2001 Ford Winstar, with California plates 4NMK504, when a car cut him off.

He said that due to how fast it happened, he did not notice the color or model of the car, only that there were three men in it who appeared to be armed and the took him out of his car.

Before that, the criminals caused two injuries to his head, two inches long and one inch deep, in addition to several injuries to different parts of his body.
